DESIGN STUDIO
These includes creations in the fields of sports and hospitality, interior design, branding concepts, photoshoots, and last but not least illustrations. Organic shapes and strong lines characterize the Studio's signature style, which honors each client's individuality while lending uniqueness to projects. Inspired by the emotional side of the human being and combined with the aesthetics of nature, the Studio endeavors pursue a two sided quest to find the perfect balance - a veritable cross-pollination - between the client's story and the studio's creativity.
CREATIVE KITCHEN
Cooking with what nature has to offer. Inspired by the unexpected. The studio's creative thinking ability, melted with the meditational part of cooking, forms into a visionary form of cooking: ancient techniques, like preserving and fermenting, combined with creative flavors from nature. The seasonal inspiration and only using organic products, straight from the ground of Gran Canaria, the outcomes are not only good for the well-being, but also surprises in taste. Simple, high-quality and a feast for the eyes: that's at the heart of BUEN food.
THE OWNER: MARGOT BEUN
Over the past years, she has been busy expanding her knowledge in the fields of interior design & styling (Eigen Huis & Tuin), set dressing (Talpa Network), event management, content creation & communication (Artemis Academy), event- and crew catering (Google Connect, EA Sports, ID&T, Apenkooi), and last but not least, organic farming in Gran Canaria.
Seeking for inspiration, in 2022 Margot decided to build a van into a moving office to travel around Europe. Besides cooking and writing recipes, she also started to make a name in the surfing industry. Sport & lifestyle photography, branding concepts, marketing assets and car wrapping designs are some of the work she has been doing. Since 2020 she is teamed up with Sara Wennekes (Pro Dutch IQ windfoiler), with who she made it into the Olympics of Paris 2024.
Since 2024, she has settled in the nature of Gran Canaria. Here she found her peace and freedom, which resulted in starting a creative kitchen. Together with her dog, Suki,, she trudges through the mud in search of new and local flavors. She looks forward to letting the are taste her style of cooking.
She likes to keep an open mind about the future: to stay open and flexible to the unexpected that nature has to offer.
